All bedding and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels. Welcome pack including small selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Electricity is included but please be considerate to the environment and only use what you need. Wi-Fi in the Bungalow.
When you make a booking on this website you are booking directly with Mark and Nikki Covington, the owners of Greenway Bungalow. We are a family business which is run independently.
If you would like to book a stay at Greenway Bungalow, please complete our online form on our Contact page. We will then be in touch to confirm the price & deposit details and send you a booking form. Once the payment and booking form are received back the booking is confirmed. Our preferred payment method is bank transfer but you can also pay by cheque. Please note all bookings are subject to terms and conditions.
In line with the UK Equality Act, assistance dogs are allowed in Greenway Bungalow. Please see the terms and conditions for more information regarding assistance dogs.
Greenway Bungalow is a single storey bungalow with stepped access so is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Also the shower tray is raised so may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
Greenway Bungalow is strictly no smoking. This includes e-cigarettes/vaping.
There is one private parking space but there is plenty additional parking available at the bottom of the site. Click here for more information regarding the location of Greenway Bungalow and the nearest parking.
Everyone who books a stay at Greenway Bungalow will be contacted approximately 3-5 days before their stay with details of the key arrangements.
You can access Greenway Bungalow from 4:00pm on the first day of your stay. Please vacate by 10:00am on your last day.
There is a small convenience store/post office called Galleon Stores, which is approximately a five minute walk into the village, this is also next-door to a butchers. Otherwise there is a Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and Tesco all within a five minute drive. More information can be found here
There is a small ice compartment at the top of the fridge which is big enough for a few small items. Greenway Bungalow does not have a separate freezer.
Greenway is a cosy and spacious self-catering holiday bungalow in Galmpton situated on a small and well-kept development of privately owned holiday bungalows in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The bungalow offers great views of the River Dart and Dartmoor being visible in the distance. The village is a 5-minute walk away where you will find a great local pub, village store and post office. There is also a family run butchers great for suppling your summer BBQ’s.The bungalow offers a great base to explore the local area with Agatha Christie’s former home, the Greenway House & Gardens (National Trust), being a mile down the road. The area is spoilt for great beaches all within a short drive or walk from the bungalow. The Broadsands (1.4 miles), Goodrington Sands (2.5 miles) and Elberry Cove (1 mile) are a stone’s throw away, with Goodrington North sands and Elberry Cove beaches open to dogs all year. The bungalow makes a great place for keen walkers with great walks exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside, the coast and the River Dart from the doorstep. With the South West Coastal Path within easy reach.
Greenway is an end positioned bungalow with a dedicated parking space. Greenway has a patio area and a mature garden which extends around the side of the bungalow. The patio is equipped with table and chairs and a BBQ great for the summer evenings. There is also an outdoor log burner. The bungalow sleeps 4 people with two bedrooms, one king and two single beds. The double bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and has built in cupboards and a TV. The single room has two single beds, and a built-in wardrobe. Hangers and hairdryer provided.The front door opens onto an open plan kitchen/lounge area. The kitchen has a single oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and provides all plates and cutlery you may need. There is also a coffee machine and bread maker. The bungalow has a modern shower room with a power shower.A washing machine, clothes dryer and iron is available. The living area is light with large windows and has laminate flooring and is furnished with a sofa and arm chair. A folding dining table is also provided for 4 people.There is a wall mounted smart TV and the bungalow has WiFi throughout All Bed linen and towels for your stay are provided the bungalow is strictly No smoking. Friday is the weekly changeover day in high season (June through to October) but we can offer flexibility at other times with short breaks available outside of high season, or if advertised.
